MORE HAPPENINGS NEAR HARTFORD

Join us on Sunday, April 29, 2007 to celebrate the 262nd anniversary of Oliver Ellsworth’s birth. Tours, special exhibits and refreshments will be available from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Oliver Ellsworth Homestead, 778 Palisado Avenue in historic Windsor, CT.

All are welcome to celebrate the life of this remarkable American and one of Windsor’s notable 18th century sons.

Operated as a museum by the Connecticut Daughters of the American Revolution, the Ellsworth Homestead depicts the period of Oliver’s residence (1782-1807) and contains furnishings from the Ellsworth and Wolcott families as well as other wonderful antiques. Stop by the CTDAR Exhibitor Booth during the conference for more information and directions or visit our website at http://www.ctdar.org/homestead.htm.
