ANCESTORS ROAD SHOW

Some persons have already asked about how and when they will be able to schedule a consultation at the Road Show. At this time we have no plans to assign any specific consultations before the Conference actually opens with on-site registration in Hartford. This is primarily because we want to make the best possible "matches" between participants and the experts we will have available at any particular time, and that cannot be done until the experts themselves have all been assigned to specific time slots. Although "walk-ins will be welcome," we do hope to accommodate those who would like to sign up for a specific time as soon as possible after they arrive in Hartford. For those who would like to plan ahead a little more on their own, here are the hours that the Road Show will be in session each day:

Mornings:
Both Friday 27 April and Saturday 28 April: 9: 00 a.m. to 12: 00 noon

Afternoons:
Friday 27 April: 1: 45 p.m. to 5: 45 p.m.
Saturday 28 April: 1: 45 p.m. to 3: 45 p.m.

The Road Show is a great opportunity for anyone seeking guidance about their ancestral quest. Even if you're having a difficult time locating your ancestors in the 1930 census or in passenger records, one of our experienced volunteers may be able to help suggest a search strategy. So - check this out, it's a great part of the conference and will help you get the most out of your visit.
